Kathleen and Melvin are based in the United States. For their Taiwan pre-wedding shoot, they brought along their bright, easygoing energy — and it showed in every frame.
They began at Dadaocheng in a fun, casual outfit. Kathleen wore a simple white dress paired with striking red Mary Janes and white socks — a bold little detail that instantly stood out against the old streets. With sunglasses, a head scarf, and playful expressions, the two of them leaned fully into the retro vibe. They stopped for candied lollipops, grabbed drinks from a café, and laughed their way through the alleys.
For their second look, they headed to Nanyaming Tunnel, where Kathleen changed into a white gown. The brick walls created a clean, timeless contrast. They continued on to a nearby park, where greenery and open space softened the setting. The change in scenery brought a fresh, airy feel to the shoot — a nice balance to the earlier urban backdrop.
As evening arrived, they made their way to Jiufen. Surrounded by glowing red lanterns, lit signboards, and bustling little shops, Kathleen stepped out in a red gown that matched the warmth of the night perfectly. The combination of lantern light and deep red made the entire scene feel vibrant and striking — a beautiful way to end the day.
